Captain Don’s Habitat

We are going back to a SPECTACULAR destination with a wonderful oceanfront resort, newly remodeled, Captain Don’s Habitat Resort.  Bonaire offers much for divers, snorkelers and non-divers alike! This Caribbean island, just north of the continent of South America, is known for its tropical, dry, weather and warm breezes. Bonaire is part of the Dutch “ABC Islands” (Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao). 

The DIVING and SNORKELING? Bonaire has beautiful, easy diving in one of the most actively protected marine parks in the Caribbean. Pristine reefs begin on the leeward side of the island just offshore, making boat and shore diving so easy!  Klein Bonaire, the little island with fabulous reefs just off Bonaire, is easily accessible by boat. Seahorses, rays, turtles, and a lot of macro marine life await you!  Frogfish have been found here, too!  We’ll be diving with the dive pros at Captain Don’s Dive Operation right on site.  The resort’s “house reef” is open 24/7 with a convenient entrance and exit off the dock into the ocean for included shore diving.  VERY NICE!!!

The RESORT? The staff at Captain Don’s Habitat Resort offer a friendly, charming and informal place overlooking the turquoise Caribbean Sea. The resort’s oceanfront restaurant and bar, “Rum Runners,” adds to the tropical, comfortable atmosphere, with Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner available. (Breakfast is included in your package!  A grocery store is a short walk away.)  Relax by the oceanside pool or on the nice sandy walled-in beach.
